Aviation photographer in safety vest lies on grass to capture photos of aircraft at small airfield.

About Andrew Hummel

I take photos because people deserve to remember themselves the way they actually are—not the hyper-posed version the internet keeps pushing. I can pose you, sure, but the unfiltered moments? That’s where it’s at.

Twenty years in the Air Force (Ret.) taught me to stay steady, pay attention, and find the story in the everyday. That still drives my work.

My goal is simple: capture you looking like yourself—just the version you actually like. The one you’d hang on your wall… or blow up for your bedroom ceiling. No judgement. No pressure, no performance. Just truth with good lighting.

When I’m not shooting, I’m eating tacos or convincing my wife that yes, I really do need another lens.

If you want photos that feel real and grounded, I’m here for it.
